The Brielle is a leader in Assisted Living and Memory Care. We operate under a unique philosophy that promotes wellness and successful aging – we want to share that knowledge with you.

Second Tuesdays at The Brielle are designed to help caregivers understand and become prepared for the changes they or their family member may face. By gathering to learn, share and connect over important issues, we build a more informed, more proficient network of support.

THE VIRTUAL DEMENTIA TOUR®
Tuesday, July 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Presented by Lorie Dancy, VP of Wellness Services, and Dora Barber, VP of Sales and Marketing

Put yourself in their shoes… And feel what it’s really like to live with dementia.

Take the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) and experience for yourself why this sensory simulation experience has people saying “eye opening,” “humbling” and “I don’t know how they do it.” Did you know most people with dementia live at home with family and friends providing the majority of care? And more than half of these caregivers admit to not knowing how to communicate properly with their family member? Unfortunately, this is true.

It is difficult to care for someone living with dementia without having walked in their shoes. The VDT lets caregivers personally experience the tough day-to-day challenges those with dementia face. The empathy and patience you will feel for people with dementia following VDT is immediate.

Please join us for Second Tuesdays at The Brielle to take this tour. You’ll come away with a true understanding of dementia’s physical and cognitive challenges and discover how to better handle changing behaviors.

Enjoy dinner on us! Stay for the conversation and leave with dinner. Complimentary take-home dinners will be available for guests.
